I had to shoot the state wrestling championship finals over the weekend and having only ever shot it once before (2 days ago), I knew I probably wouldn't be that good at shooting the action. I was attracted to the flare and contrasty light during the introductions.  For anyone that hasn't shot wrestling before, I highly recommend asking someone how it works before going. Learning on the fly is not best thing to do.

I've been wanting to pick up and play around with these cameras for a long time but I never did anything about it until recently. I've been getting a bit tired of just using digital cameras and wanted to discover what else photography can be. I'm not quite sure what exactly I've discovered just yet but it's been a lot of fun playing with them because I never quite know what to expect. Once I understand them a bit more I'm going to use them more for bigger projects.
